WaterMark® Oil/Water Interface Meter

Detects 1 mm thick floating product on water. Use for monitoring and remediation of groundwater contaminated by oil products. Accurately measures the thickness of floating product (LNAPL) above the water table. Also detects and measures sinking layers of DNAPL. Slim, 5/8" stainless steel probe is ideal for wells, piezometers, and direct push equipment as narrow as 3/4" I.D. The probe and Kynar-jacketed tape with stainless steel conductors withstands hydrocarbons, solvents, and other contaminants. (Tape conforms to N.T.S. standard, US GGG-T-106E and European Class 11 Standard and is accurate to 0.01%.) The reel is constructed of unbreakable, U.V. resistant engineered plastic with stainless steel fittings for years of use in extreme climate conditions. Reel features large handles for easy use with gloved hands, soft vinyl grip on reel, and unique hook on frame to allow meter to hang on the casing. Electronics are fully encapsulated to protect against water and mechanical damage.

Signal convention: oil is represented by a solid tone/light while water is represented by an intermittent tone/light. Tape graduations: 1/100 ft. Power: one 9V battery. Dimensions: 13.5" x 10" x 8".
