Convenient LCD display allows you to check readings at a glance!
Obtain accurate, real-time weather information with these weather stations! Two models are available. Each weather station features a built-in data logger where measurements are stored in a fail-safe, non-volatile memory until data is transferred to your computer. Choose from measurement intervals of 1, 10, 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes. Using the WatchDog’s exclusive LCD display, you can easily check current and daily high/low readings or confirm that the weather station and sensors are functioning properly. Several communication options are available to suit your needs – direct PC connection, dial-up modem, or cellular modem (each sold separately). Utilizing state-of-the-art electronics and low power consumption, each weather station can operate for one year using four AA alkaline batteries (included). Both weather stations require Spec8 Pro™ software for use (sold separately).

Wind Direction: 2° increments with ±7° accuracy. Wind Speed: to 175 mph (212 kph) with ±5% accuracy. Temperature: -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C) with ±1°F (±0.6°C) accuracy. Humidity: 10% to 100% at 5°C to 50°C with ±3% accuracy. Dew point: -99°F to 140°F (-73°C to 60°C) with ±4°F (±2°C). Rainfall: 0.01" (0.25mm) with ±2% accuracy.

WatchDog Model 2900ET Weather Station
The WatchDog Model 2900ET is a powerful, comprehensive system that measures, calculates, and logs evapotranspiration, solar radiation, wind chill, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, dew point, air temperature, and rainfall. The Model 2900ET can accommodate up to five external sensors.
 
WatchDog Model 700 Weather Station
This weather station measures the same parameters as the Model 900ET with the exception of evapotranspiration and solar radiation. Up to four sensors can be added to the Model 2700.

Spec8 Pro™ Software
Easily manage your data with Spec8 Pro software. Data is easy to locate because all logger data is stored in one file per month. You can use the interactive graphing window to quickly plot graphs for data analysis. Build, customize, and save your preferred report formats or choose from eleven standard reports. Spec8 Pro also allows you to automate logger download with directly-connected stations and even generate scheduled log files for posting on the web.

WatchDog® Weather Station Accessories

Dial-Up Modem
Use to access a remote weather station. Requires a phone line and 110V power source at the weather station. AC adapter included.
WatchDog Data Shuttle
Use to launch and download your data shuttle and transport data. 128K memory stores up to 13 full data loggers or 4 full weather stations. Fail-safe EEPROM memory.
Leaf Wetness Sensor
Grid-like, resistance-based sensor measures leaf wetness. Range: 0 (dry) to 15 (wet).
Quantum Light Sensor
Measures radiation from 400 to 700 nanometers (photosynthetically active range). Includes built-in level. Range: 0 to 2,500 umol m-2s-1. Accuracy: ±5%.
