Takes area measurements from maps and other sources with an accuracy of +0.2%!
Use for a wide range of applications including construction and civil engineering work, land development planning, agricultural and forestry work. Clear LCD screens display readings up to 8 digits. 6-Digit pulse count allows you to measure an area 100 times larger than with an ordinary planimeter – up to 10 square meters. The KP-90N and KP-80N can be compared to the Planix 7 and Planix 8, respectfully. Each model features a hold memory function that holds a value in memory. For even more precise measurements, a mean value can be calculated from several measurements. A built-in computer instantly converts measured areas into a unit and scale value of choice. These planimeters are powered by a built-in Ni-Cad storage battery that can be recharged with a 120V AC adapter (included). With batteries, you can count on 30 hours of continuous operation. Recharge time for batteries is approximately 15 hours. Adapter and carrying case are included with each planimeter.
Specifications: 10 Symbols are Batt-E, Scale, Memo, Hold, acre, square cm, m, km, inches, and feet. Measuring Range: KP-90N (roller type) – maximum vertical width of 12.8". Horizontal roller rotating length is 98.6´. KP-80N (polar type) – maximum with the pole put outside the pattern is 11.8" and maximum with the pole put inside the pattern is 31.5". |
