Compact enough to be carried on your to belt!
The XTpc utilizes the industry’s smallest transmitter, measuring 7.2˝L x 2.2˝W x 1.5˝H, to locate pipes and cables. Choose from two models, the XTpc-33 or the XTpc-82. Use either the passive mode or one of the active modes for pipe and cable location depending on your needs. In the passive mode, the receiver searches for 60Hz or 50Hz signals (factory preset). Using one of the active modes, the transmitter will operate at a frequency of either 33kHz or 82kHz (depending on the model). Use the included conductive clip assembly in the conductive mode to obtain the strongest and best coupled signal. An optional inductive signal clamp (sold separately) can be used in the inductive clamp mode by placing the jaws of the clamp around the cable or pipe. You can also combine the XTpc-82 with the optional inductive antenna (sold separately) in the inductive mode to trace a cable or pipe when it is physically impossible to do a direct connect or to use an inductive clamp. The locator extends for greater sensitivity and retracts for easy carrying. One-hand operation is easy since all controls can be reached with your thumb, and depth calculation can be done using a single button. Direction arrows allow for easy locating and foolproof centering. The XTpc also features digital signal strength readout, variable frequency audio, manual or automatic gain control, volume control, and a battery indicator on both the receiver and transmitter. Each locator comes standard with a retractable receiver, transmitter with NiMH rechargeable battery pack, transmitter battery charger for 120VAC or 12 VDC, standard size conductive clip assembly with 6' leads, stainless steel ground stake, tool belt with receiver holster and accessory pouch, and a duffel carryall bag. Three-year manufacturer’s warranty.
