Accurate, reliable, and incredibly portable, GA-92XT magnetic locators quickly and easily detect the magnetic fields of ferromagnetic objects up to 16 feet underground. Detect the magnetic fields of property markers, manholes, septic tanks, well casings, valve boxes, cast iron pipes, steel drums, and unexploded ordnance. Designed for easy one-hand operation, the unit allows for fingertip control of volume and sensitivity and operates in both retracted and extended modes. A carrying holster provides a convenient way to keep the GA-92XT within reach at the job site. Choose from two models. The GA-92XTi model provides audio indication of ferrous objects as well as a battery level meter and a relative gain strength indicator. The GA-92XTd offers the same features as the GA-92XTi with the addition of a display unit which shows signal polarity and a bar graph representing relative signal strength. This simultaneous use of audio and visual responses provides information to help in pinpointing a target and determining its orientation. Carrying case included with both models. Seven year warranty.
Specifications: Operating temperature: -13°F to 140°F. Output: Audio, Signal increases in frequency with gradient field intensity. Idle frequency = 10 Hz. Visual, Expanding bar graphs indicate polarity (positive or negative) and relative signal strength (GA-92XTd model only). Power: one 9V battery, included (lithium recommended, but not required). Battery life: 24 hours (intermittent usage). Overall length: Unit extended, 26"; Unit collapsed, 15.5". Water resistant length: 11.5" (when extended). Weight: approx. 2.4 lbs.
