This weather station’s multiple display conveniently shows each measured or calculated parameter. Measure wind speed, wind direction, inside and outside temperature, wind chill, dew point, barometric pressure, relative humidity, and rainfall (using your choice of rain gauges, each sold separately). Select English or metric units for each parameter. In addition to displaying current data, maximum and minimum values are also recorded with the time of occurrence. Add additional MKIII™ displays (sold separately) to view weather data in multiple locations. The sensor assembly’s solar-charged battery supply can provide continuous operation below 60° latitude and will operate for at least 60 days without sun. An optional computer interface module is also available for downloading information to a PC. Choose from two rain gauges. The wireless ground mount rain gauge mounts in a hole in the ground, transmits to a receiver in the weather station, has a maximum range of 400’, and allows for easy access when cleaning. The other model is a wired rooftop rain gauge which fastens to the sensor assembly’s tripod (Tripod sold separately). Two year manufacturer’s warranty on wireless sensor assembly and MKIII™ display and five year warranty on solar panel.

Temperature: Range, -66°F to 166°F (-54°C to 74°C); Accuracy, ±1°F (±0.5°C). Relative humidity: Range, 0 to 100% RH; Accuracy, ±2% @ 25°C, temperature compensated from -40°C to 85°C. Dew point: Range, -40°F to 110°F (-40°C to 43°C); Accuracy, ±2°F (±1°C). Barometer: Range, 16.3 in. to 32 in. Hg (551 to 1,083 millibars hPa); Accuracy, ±0.05 in Hg, ±1.69 hPa, temperature compensated from -40°C to 85°C. Rainfall: Collector, 8" diameter with tipping bucket; Range, unlimited; Resolution, 0.01" (0.25mm); Accuracy, ±2% @ 1.5" per hour. Wind chill: Range, to -127°F (to -88°C); Accuracy, ±2°F (±1°C). Transceiver: Frequency, 418 MHz - sensor unit, 315 MHz - yard mount rain gauge; Range, 400’ - sensor unit, 300’ - yard mount rain gauge.
